Aberdeen Holdings is a leading Sri Lankan diversified conglomerate, with over three decades of experience building, growing and investing in businesses across multiple sectors and markets.
Our journey began in 1995 with the establishment of Expolanka Investments as a privately held investment company, founded on an entrepreneurial mindset and a long-term approach to business. What began with a focused portfolio gradually evolved through new ventures, strategic investments and expansion into diverse industries, becoming the Aberdeen Holdings of today.
Over the years, the Group has built a portfolio spanning five strategic sectors, with operations, partnerships and market relationships extending across 18+ countries. Today, our businesses operate across Packaging, Paper & Recycling, Travel & Logistics, Energy & Tech, Healthcare & Wellness, and Global Food & Beverage serving both local and international markets.
While the Group has evolved considerably since its beginnings, the principles behind its growth remain consistent: disciplined decision-making, entrepreneurship, strong partnerships and a commitment to building businesses for the long term.
Across every sector, Aberdeen continues to focus on creating sustainable value, strengthening operational excellence, empowering people and pursuing new opportunities for growth, while remaining rooted in Sri Lanka and expanding its presence across the world.
To drive positive change in every industry we operate in.
We invest in, develop, and renew industries - building businesses that drive change and uplift the communities around them.
